For The Community - Skill Training Programs

CCTEK Sub-Centre, Sanjay Memorial Polytechnic, Sagar:

Sub Center of C.C.T.E.K**, Sanjay Memorial Polytechnic, Sagar is designed to meet the continuing and non-formal educational needs of local industry, business and community at large. It is housed within the Polytechnic and headed by the C.C.T.E.K. Manager.

We conduct in-service training and workshops for non-teaching staff and students of the Polytechnic for meeting the needs of technological advancement, changes in curriculum, and career advancement.

**Center for Continuing Technical Education in Karnataka (C.C.T.E.K.) functions as an autonomous governing body. It contributes to technical education programs in the field of computers and information technology and other areas. The Minister of Higher Education is its Chairman and The Secretary of Higher Education is Vice Chairman. Officers of technical education department and representatives from industry and technological university are other members of the governing body. The target group comprises of community people, physically handicapped, socially backward people and women etc.


Skill Development Program:

Sanjay Vocational Training Centre, Sagar is a registered training center under Sanjay Vidya Kendra Training Provider. It provides CMKKY and PMKVY by State Government Kaushalya Mission and Central Government Kaushalya Vikas Yojana respectively.

The target group comprises of community people, physically handicapped, socially backward people and women, etc. The activities undertaken these schemes help unemployed people to improve their abilities, skills and competence, professional as well as vocational, thus facilitating entry into specialized areas and/or allow personal development and satisfaction.


Unnat Bharat Abhiyan:

Sanjay Memorial Polytechnic, under its parent company Sanjay Vidya Kendra ®, Sagar, is proud to be registered and approved under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Scheme. This scheme is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India.

It aims to undertake many central government schemes for rural development processes. Our Institute will be providing the following programs:

  1. Water conservation through watershed approach under MGNREGS
  2. Use of new technology and local materials and designs in rural housing programme under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana –Gramin (PMAY)
  3. Solid and liquid waste management
  4. Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) and other central government rural development program.
